Martin Bond: Executive Director

MartinMartin was previously the program director at CESC, overseeing the SmartLights Program and the Oakland Shines Program, which brought advanced, energy efficient technologies to businesses in Oakland. During his time at CESC, Martin has worked with many local cities to promote energy awareness and help implement their Climate Action Plans. He is also an adjunct professor at Laney College in their Green Jobs Program, and formerly worked as a sales executive specializing in sales training and team development. Martin holds a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara. He and his wife Melanie live in Oakland with their 3 children.


Chris Lewis: Program Director

ChrisAfter graduating from UC Berkeley in 2006, Chris started at CESC as the marketing coordinator for the SmartLights Program. Since then, he has been a SmartLights project manager and the residential programs manager for the Home Repair and Weatherization Programs. Now, he is the program director at CESC, and directs all CESC programs and program development. He enjoys the community work that CESC provides, and over the years he has gotten many certifications in energy efficiency and weatherization. Chris is the father of two boys and a girl and is the husband of a lovely wife. He is a die-hard 49ers fan and enjoys poker and the outdoors.

Gregory Clark: Construction Services Manager

GregoryGregory Clark is CESC’s licensed contractor and construction services manager. In addition to his many certifications in weatherization, Gregory holds two BPI certifications, Building Analyst and Envelope Professional. Gregory places a high priority on contributing his time to causes that help make our planet a better place. With CESC’s charitable services to low income households, his committed and hardworking staff, and our energy conservation stakeholders, he feels that his time is well spent.



Lourdes Clark: Office Manager

Lourdes2Lourdes Clark has been working for CESC for 3 years. She started working in CESC’s residential programs, Healthy Homes and ESAP,  assisting clients create healthy and energy efficient homes.  In addition to those responsibilities, Lourdes is the office manager.  Lourdes enjoys spending her downtime with her family.
